Limit the report to a comparison of two or three of the crusades. For example, the one led by the Holy Roman Emperor, Frederick II, who led the 6th crusade (1228) with the two led by King Louis IX of France who led the 7th crusade (1248) and the 8th crusade (1270).

Frederick had a small army, therefore he settled for negotiations, and made the 6th crusade the second most successful. He was excommunicated.

The 7th crusade, which was led by King Louis suffered tremendous military setbacks, lost everything gained by Frederick II, and ended with Louis’ captivity. Louis came back to lead the 8th crusade, but died before he could do anything. That crusade was also a loss. Louis was canonized and is known today as St. Louis. There is even a city in the U.S. named after him.

You might try making a chart indicating the size of each leader’s army, the number of battles and casualties, the respective territorial gains and losses.

i think it basically means letting things unfold on their own, sometimes passing time is all that we need to see where the truth really lays , and with that we do better and have a different perspective on things. to me that's what waiting on the lord means.

You could expand the crusades theme to include the hunt for all "pagans", Templars, and darned near everyone else.

You could wipe out all kinds of people with Powerpoint.

Christian Book Dealers(CBD) had a page in many of their catalogs devoted to such speakers/writers. You can probably find that page online as well and then look at websites set up for each person to see what is available.

Start with the slide, THE CRUSADES: Our christian legacy of death and murder!

Followed by the slide, THE HISTORY OF DEATH AND MURDER IN CHRISTIANITY!

After filling 10 to 500 slides on that subject matter, highlight the similarities between the crusades and inquisitions and the ‘war on terror’ that the US is waging in the name of christianity.

Alternatively, choose a different subject. That’s my take.

P.s. I agree that each day would be the same in a diary entry format. e.g.

May 7th, 1476: killed some pagans
May 8th, 1476:killed some pagans

etc.
