December 2, 2008Do you know of any good dvd’s, preferably with christian speakers,that will give me advice and support for blended families? I am remarried and we have 4 kids between us. There are already issues with discipline and money, etc. So I would like a dvd that me and my husband can watch together to learn how to deal with these issues.I know there are alot of good books but we want something we can watch together. I appreciate any advice. Thanks!
Ed C. SFCU: I think thats wonderful for you. Thats what I want too, right now everything is still "his and mine". Its becoming very hard to enforce any rules with my kids when his kids have no rules to go by. I think in time it will get better and we will grow as a family.
Wow I wish I knew of one – My husband and I probably would have watched it. We have six between us – his 3 & my 3. We’ve been married just over 4 years & the first couple of years were a little rough but I am amazed how God has brought two families in to one. For us all of our kids became all of our kids – there were no his or her’s just ours – I think that’s made the hugest difference.
