I am doing a presentation about my life in a Word Processing class in highschool. We are supposed to include pictures and a song that represents our life. I would really like to find a good Christian song with an awesome beat that would get my classmates interested in at least listening to Christian music, if not interested in God. (: Thanks!

It’s almost Easter, try this. Catchy tune.

Got one. I’m atheist. but this still has a good beat… I dont know the name, but it’s artis or cd is called "ego-traxx" and it’s track 2… It starts with part of a prayer then goes on to a beat… Trust me, It’s really good. However, If you’re planning on changing beliefs of other atheists. I’d stop right there…. You’ll just be hated… Like all the other christians that tried to change me in my school…

Tomorrow at Church ask the music minister or the youth minister to help you here. Someone who knows you can help out.

Do you go to a public school? If so, this is a bad idea. That is, if this is a serious question.

Just pick the most God-infused, Christian song possible. Ones with a frequent refrain, like "I want to seeeeee you, Jesus!" usually get high school kids really interested.

Edit: Definitely "Awesome God." That one really gets the message across.

Your effort is the reason atheist are mad with your religion. Why can’t you do your assignment without recruiting. Is anyone else trying to make you Muslim or atheist there. You have no right!!!

I can name some good artists and you can check them out on YouTube.

There’s Cutless. Jars of Clay. Skillet.

If you’re looking for more of a Celtic sound, than there’s a rendition of the V’ahavta (see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qM0Jzgemx38&feature=PlayList&p=A935D1D142948C7F&index=0), though this is probably more for the Messianic Jew audience.

I think the favorite that I would share, though, is Awesome God (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6RGcb7alSk0&feature=PlayList&p=1008FBF153E48592&index=8).

One size fits all , by the Statler Brothers might do. It contains some error, but is better than most.

Hmmm isn’t this supposed to be about YOUR life? Do you listen to Christian radio or church music? Do you sing a song to yourself about the love of God or something when you need encouragement?

You can go to youtube and search Christian videos…I think you have some good suggestions for a start in the thread here. I enjoy Awesome God by Michael W Smith http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3b1iwLIMmRQ&feature=fvw Anytime you can praise God, and lift Him up, you will be blessed. Open the eyes of my heart is another good one imo.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DgQ7GaTT-oU&feature=related

Hey, it’s a presentation about your life, so pick your favorite song! The tunes you get up to in the morning, what you have in your Ipod and so on.
After all, you’re asked to prepare a presentation about yourself, not your religion and trying to convert the entire class isn’t going to work but will probably do the opposite- antagonise potential converts.
