I’m in the middle of preparing for a presentation in my German class. We just started class recently, so this first presentation is about telling the class five things about myself. I’m trying to figure out how to specifically say "I am a Christian" in the German language. I believe I’m supposed to start the sentence with "Ich bin…" can anyone help me complete the sentence?
If you are a female:
Ich bin Christin.
If you are a male:
Ich bin Christ.
It’s not common German usage to use an indefinite article in this context.

Ich bin ein Christ
References :
I’m pretty sure it’s "Ich bin ein Christ."
References :
My cousin is german.
Ich bin ein Christ.
or
Ich bin katholisch. (= i’m Catholic)
so you can translate your english sentence directly into german

native speaker
Ich bin Christ.
‘Volltrottel’ means ‘complete, blithering idiot’ so be sure not to use that translation.
