So, does it impact your christian faith?
Having lots of friends, going out alot ect.
Any bible texts that can help with this question?

Please help, this is supposed to be a 4 minute presentation

It’s good be with Christian friends and go out with them….

But to spend MUCH time going out with them is not scriptural anymore…..

Matthew 6:33 says, "“Keep on, then, SEEKING FIRST THE KINGDOM and his righteousness, and all these [other] things will be added to YOU."

The priority of real Christian is all about spiritual things like preaching, attending Christian meetings, learning more about the Bible and so on….

Christ did not teach us to prioritize fame or popularity….
He’s exemplary in doing God’s will.

1 Peter 2:21 "In fact, to this [course] YOU were called, because even Christ suffered for YOU, leaving YOU a model for YOU to follow his steps closely."

Well if I weren’t such a hermit, I might be able to lend a better answer. As it is, being social is good. It helps for relationships, dealing with adversity, and hopefully learning tolerance. Social circles can also lend you a hand when times get tough. It might impact your Christian faith but only you can assess if the impact is good or bad.

So, take these points, build on them and 4 min. should be no problem.

Oh yes it does. Being popular means being a Christian.
Now I can make fun of everyone and tell them to go to hell. :)
Amen.

You will meet people with different ideologies/race/sexuality so best of you to be tolerant and practice acceptance.

i have friends but i would not say i was "popular" though looking back on high school perhaps i was, people i had no idea they where knew my name and it had been 2 years and i still get facebook friend request saying you "where that dude in my ___ class". i never cared for being popular, i hardly even noticed if i was. It did not effect my life in any way.

Making popularity important is putting other gods before you, idolatry.

You can’t listen to God when the voices of others drown Him out.

I think it depends on if you "sell out" in order to be popular, in other words if you hold on to your beliefs it shouldn’t, but depending on what you mean by going out it could impact it, and what being popular means to you.

"Some friendships do not last, but some friends are more loyal than brothers."
- Proverbs 18:24

"Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up."
- Bible: Ecclesiastes

"A mirror reflects a man’s face, but what he is really like is shown by the kind of friends he chooses."
- Proverbs 27:19
